Buchan Tenants’ and Residents’ Association is made up of the people who live in Buchan Estate. The association is made up of residents from Barset Rd, Buchan Rd, Daniels Rd, Gibbon Rd, Howbury Rd, Kimberley Ave, Linden Grove, Salisbury Terrace, and Tappesfield Rd. Buchan catchment area comprises of 279 Barset style design properties and 104 non Barset style design properties. Members work together to represent and provide a collective voice for all tenants and home owners in the area and make their neighbourhood a better place to live.

The aim of the members is to work collectively to improve housing and environmental standards in their neighbourhood and increase a sense of community by encouraging everybody to become involved.  Members can benefit by taking part in social events and other organised services for the community. We have approx. Two day trips per year, In 2008 we went to Brighton & Thorpe Park. Thankfully the weather was kind to use and everyone had a great day out.

The association members meet on the 1st Monday of every month (If the Monday falls on a Bank Holiday the meeting will be on the Second Monday of the Month) and give their time and support wherever it is needed. Anyone in our catchment area is welcome to join the committee and have their say.

About Nunhead SE15

Nunhead is a place in the London Borough of Southwark near Peckham, East Dulwich and New Cross. Nunhead also contains Nunhead Cemetery, a Victorian cemetery. The neighbourhood is predominantly a residential area, with small pockets of light industry around Brayards and Consort Road.  The P12 and 78 Bus routes follow the main roads around the edge of the neighbourhood.

There is a small number of shops along Nunhead Parade including a fishmonger, F.C Soper, and Ayres, a bakery. There are two butchers shops, two florists, a tanning salon, several hair dressers and pharmacies.
